The Tessella Mixer Base is a compact, gear-driven proportioner engineered to standardize the mixing of TissuGel pre-inks with cells or additives. Designed for reliability and ease of use, it automatically enforces a 4:1 mixing ratio, eliminating variability introduced by manual mixing.
This mechanical mixing platform holds two syringes and uses an integrated gear system to synchronize their plungers. As the operator pushes the handle, the gears precisely translate motion, dispensing each component at the exact predefined ratio.
Built from biocompatible, lab-ready materials and featuring Tessella’s signature modular design, the Mixer Base is lightweight, easy to clean, and compatible with the Tessella Mixer (for passive, low-shear combination of pre-inks and cells or additive).
