Gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) is a photocrosslinkable gelatin derivative broadly used for 3D cell culture and 3D bioprinting. We make GelMA with a degree of subtitution between 60-80% using gelatin from porcine skin (Type A, ~300 g Bloom).
